WHAT IS AMPLIFY?
Amplify Young Evangelists Academy is a partnership between; The Message, Rural Missions, Scripture Union, Festive, Urban Saints, Luminosity, Nxt Move Europe, and Alpha.
Amplify is an evangelism mentoring scheme for 11-17-year-olds, seeking to encourage, equip and empower young people to share their faith with their friends, family and community.
The 6-month long, interactive programme is made up of two in-person gatherings, monthly online group mentoring sessions and evangelism masterclasses with those sharing their faith in the worlds of music, sport, performing arts, social media, social action and many more.
Gathering with like-minded young people, Amplify seeks to see young people encourage each other in their faith and witness and be empowered in how they live that out in their day-to-day lives.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

We’re looking for young people who are actively living out what it looks like to share their faith; confidently speaking with peers, inviting friends to church, setting up Christian Unions and generally taking any opportunity to share Jesus. Applicants must be put forward by a youth pastor or church leader, having identified in the applicant a gifting and a desire to share their faith.
Amplify aims to deeply invest in these young people – helping them to develop a greater understanding of the gospel as well as confidence in sharing their faith. We’ll then offer opportunities for evangelism in a variety of settings – offering accessible models of what it means to share faith in this contemporary youth culture.
Amplify will seek to journey with 150-200 young people aged 11-17 for each 6-month long programme, from many different churches and denominations right across the UK. The programme begins in October 2025, you can apply to join using the form below.

AMPLIFY PROGRAMME: 2024/25
1. Gatherings

At the beginning of the year, we’ll gather the whole group to begin to dream about what it means to reach a generation for Jesus. Throughout the year there are two residential events which are planned for 10th-12th October 2025 and 20th-22nd March 2026. Each Residential is administrated by Scripture Union, once you have been accepted for the year you will be invited to book on for the residentials via the Scripture Union website.
2. Small Groups
Small groups will be put together based on age. You will meet online and will be facilitated by our small group leaders. These will follow the Advance Evangelist Group model.
3. Evangelism Masterclasses with Specialist Mentors
Evangelism takes place in many different forms – streets, platforms, social media, 1-2-1, etc… So, in Winter 2025/26 you will get to take part in online Evangelism Masterclasses with Specialist Mentors who are evangelists from all sectors of society, they are specialists in their field of evangelism.
4. Ongoing Platform for Storytelling and Testimony
There will be opportunities for you to share the stories of how you are reaching a generation for Jesus at conferences and events to inspire other young people to do the same, but also opportunity to join short term missions across the nation in villages, towns and cities.
Costs for Amplify
The full cost of the Amplify year is £200, each Residential costs £100 per young person, per residential, which is a subsidised cost. We also have a bursary available for anyone who is unable to pay the residential booking cost.

Mission Academy Live is series of 10 innovative video-based sessions, each one empowering young people as missional disciples within a small group context, with a focus on peer-to-peer evangelism. Each session provides an understanding of today's contemporary context, with teaching, discussion, and testimony, all leading to a practical response.
